Rosie is a Full Peruvian, 93% Accoyo female who in 2006 was the Light Color Champion at the Pacific Northwest Alpaca Fleece Show. She has a remarkable pedigree that illustrate who's who in the alpaca foundation importations with bloodlines of Peruvian Inca, Peruvian Torbio and Peruvian Starbuck. Her mother is a show winner as well. Rosie has wonderful luster, fine silky fleece and great lock. Her fleece is dense and uniform. Her conformation, including bite are good. She has a wonderful temperment and stands calmly while rubbed. She has a natural curiosity that causes her to investigate most happenings in the barn and she is not afraid of visitors. She has proven to be an excellent mother, giving birth to a beautiful female cria last year - Zakiya who has striking luster, lock and fineness (her micron count was 19.7). Rosie is a great, attentive mom with lots of milk who passes on her sweet temperment. She is bred to our MacGyver stud for a fall 2010 cria.
