LCA Glory is a full Peruvian light fawn female who is a granddaughter of Pperuvian Uribe. She is one-quarter Accoyo. Her sire, Teton is a Uribe son who was shown by Latah Creek and had a good show record. Her lineage also includes Latah Creeks two best imported dams who consistently threw national champions, PPeruvian Munacoy and PPeruvian Martina. Glory was purchased from Latah Creek Alpacas as a foundation female and she has not disappointed us. She has produced show winning cria and throws excellent lock and luster. When bred to color (and when not at times) she throws color. Glory is the largest alpaca in our herd, weighing in at about 180 pounds. She is an excellent production female, throwing large robust cria with great vigor and size. She had a large bag and her cria are consistently the largest in the barn and grow very quickly. This year's cria, Ariel weighed 70 pounds at three months of age. Although Glory's cria are always weaned with the other babies, generally she already has weaned them. Her cria also mature quickly; her male cria Mateus, now standing in Oregon, impregnated his first female at 22 months, and her female cria, Keona, was bred at the age of 16 months and threw a beautiful cria last year. Glory is an easy breeder (we have only bred her once each year) and she births easily. She is a good, attentive mom with an enormous udder. She is bred to a dark MacGyver male for a spring 2010 cria.
